- That they intend to support "current and future developments of AT",
- meaning Power Amiga...

- Since they have a major interest in the curretnAmiga technology, perhaps
- it's natural for them to have a major stake in it's development. The new
- chipset for the Power Amiga is no doubt equally useful for the next
- generation of VIScorp set-top boxes. Developing set-top and computer
- technology in parallel is logical IMO.

- Phase5? The company full of big ideas that haven't actually released a
- bugless device yet, and that no-one can contact at the moment?
-
- MacroSystem? The company that probably poses the greatest single
- competition to the Amiga with the DraCo, and that has dropped development
- of the Amiga version of the VLAB (ie., limited to Z2 version, no Z3 in
- development) in preference for DraCo expansion?

-
- Exactly, it's all conjecture at this stage
-
- PM> BTW if the sale goes through whats going to happen with the marketing

-
- I think most headway made by AT (inventory, development, distribution and
- marketing) will be capitalised on by VIScorp, and probably justifies the
- $40m price tag...
